to almost Minor deital in nature, and are the direct servants
of Alhuhax. The rule the three factions of Devas, and are rarely
seen by the faithful of Alhuhax, preferring to dwell in the conjoined
Empyreal/Celestial realms. They are wanderer through the vacuum
of space, and usually are called to combat the Deep Old or similar
threats. There are currently six in existence--there were originally
seven, the 7th became the "Abyssal Deva", the Lesser
 God Yornuk.

The other Devas take the form of the three primary colors of light:
 Red, Green, and Blue.

 - Red Arms: (42 Strong Potency, 7 Strong Quasi-Deital leaders)
This color are the Warriors of Ax. They are the active slayers
of evil, and are the primary force during any holy jihad--especially
those . They represent Alhuhax's virtues of Justice and Righteous
Anger. The aspects of knowledge the Red Faction represents includes
knowledge of military functions (Strategy, Tactics, Military Science),
Law, Logic, Math, The Structure of the Multiverse (Metaphysics,
Pantheology, Multiversal Planes & Spheres, Demonology), and
 Influence of others.

During situations of conflict with netherlife, these Devas may
be mounted on Empyreal Steeds--Winged Xaqqui of Rainbow Markings,
called the Xanthayi. The steeds are as intelligent and as powerful
 as the Ki-Rin.
  - Green Arms/Faction (42 Strong Potency, 7 Strong Quasi-Deital
leaders): This arm are the Sentinels of Alhuhax. They are Defensive
in nature and are guardians of temples, domiciles, and personas.
They are invoked for Aportropistic functions, and to provide mental
strength and superior will in times of need. The knowledge areas
they represent are based on the physical creations of mankind:
Architecture, Language, Sociology, Astronomy, History, Political
 Science, and the like.

Said Devas are also sometimes accompanies by dog-sized Cat-formed
Supernatural Creatures known as the Zonquar, or "Light Lynx,
Solar Cats". Such creatures are both fierce in battle and
independent in nature, though they will always cooperate with
 their Deva caretaker.
  - Blue Arms/Faction: (42 Strong Potency, 7 Strong Quasi-Deital
leaders)Those of this class are the Missionaries of Alhuhax, and
the Caretakers of Humanity's welfare. They are entities are invoked
cure illness, disease, and poison, and heal both Spiritual and
Mental afflictions, especially those which affect the mind or
those caused by evil. They represent the knowledge of that of
life, nature, and the natural world outside of the more mystical
or primitive --such as Botany, Zoology, Geography, Agriculture,
 and the like

Said Devas may be accompanied by a kalnaquor, a Kingfisher or
Seagull-like creature large enough to fly upon, which glows with
a pure powerful light. Many times the act as steeds for the Blue
ones as the come down from the high realms, and are usually used
to transport HPs and OPs to other planes and spheres.

 Other Creatures:

 - Penhuhans (Notions), non-deital spirits which carry small
bits of knowledge, whether great or trivial. Such beings may be
 summoned by mediums.

 - Sahinniax (Aurora's), Supernatural spirits which have a NPM,
but manifest on the Ætherial as a large nimbus of Scintillating
colors. These beings from time to time are found at great universities
and centers of knowledge, usually when a great discovering, invention,
or intellectual work is to be created, to be logged and recorded
in the great library of Alhuhax. They also attempt to guard against
evil influence against the project, such as Imp mischief, spirit
 sendings, and the like.

 - Galzanaqui (Atlantian Phoenix/Bennu). These creatures are
similar in nature and power to the Azirian Phoenix and the Ægyptian
Bennu, but seem to be made up of burning Empyreal Light (rather
than lightning or Fire). It is an Omen to briefly spot one of
these creatures flying in a distant night sky

 - Lantern Guides: Former Exceptional Priests (either of Great
Rank or those who had performed exceptional deeds) who served
Alhuhax, which appear similar to their mortal guises, save for
glowing auroras and the garb of the Lanterns. They are summoned
on the Material plane for divination purposes, or to impart a
message to a clergyman--they have no true power to affect Physical
beings on the material plane. Otherwise, they take care of the
afterworld school as well as the great library of all knowledge.

Great Lanterns are those few who were Archpriests ("Popes")
of Alhuhax, and can manifest some powers in a PPM (spellcasting).

The very rare Grand Lanterns are the existing hierophants (Mortals
who have achieved Power [or greater] status), if any, who serve
Alhuhax, since by right they have become Immortal without dying.

 Descriptive and Miscellaneous Information:

Alhuhax is the Greater God of Light. Lord of Thought, bringer
of Knowledge. He came from the Astral Plane, saving Æna
and her daughters from the assaults of the Ancient Masters, .
He is the Oversage and Ruler of Godscity, the place where most
of the High ones Dwell, a amalgam of many planes and spheres.
Legend has him as the one who assisted Adyani when she "seeded"
 the race of Humanity.

In the celestial city, Alhuhax is the "King". However,
his power isn't all-pervasive. When Oxo was destroyed, Æna
sent visions to Adyani regarding a need for somebody to take some
of the dark power from that Entital Monster. Honryu, a High One,
took that role. It was necessary. However, in the city, Honryu
ended up establishing an "underworld", akin to a powerful
Crime Guild/Secret Society, and has been a constant rival to Alhuhax.

On Ærth, Alhuhax was initially the teacher of the Atlantl
civilization, his first wisepeople bringing knowledge to the masses.
Unfortunately, Alhuhax was checked by Honryu, who ended up being
the favored deity of the ruling classes, with Alhuhax having a
minor role in civilization with monks and sages. Because of Alhuhax's
weakened role in Ærth society, it became decadent during
several periods...Some of Honryu's servants (Devils) weren't opposed
to human sacrifice, and this setting allowed for the worship of
the Ancient Masters to be established on Ærth. Though most
were seen as monstrous and abandoned, in part due to the constant
vigilance of all the High Ones, Demogorgon gained great power
and formed the Marquis, mostly from a mass exodus of dark creatures
from Honryu's banner. Now Honryu and Alhuhax have to manage a
war against this dark presence. It's not something Alhuhax easily
 forgets.

With Berberian and Iberian influence, as well as the sending of
the "Golden Prophet" (a mortal Avatar or Alhuhax, named
Va Lugnya), the bringer of knowledge eventually regained a larger
following among Ærth worshipers, especially with the fall
of the corrupted Atlantl empire, and the nature of his sects expanded.
(Note that while Alhuhax is a patron of rulers, and would like
to see an Atlantl Empire again, he loathes decadence, and thus
the old empire was not good. The fact that the Atlantians ignored
Heka development in the early days proves this!)

Mundane Forms of Alhuhax: Sometimes, even Greater Deities
(who are removed from the Mundane planes more than their Lesser
and Minor counterparts) will attempt to communicate to a mortal
directly, rather than going through intermediaries: either through
a dream or vision, non-material apparition, or even a mortal avatastic
form. However, in most cases, they will stick to certain specified
forms. Here are the most common forms Alhuhax takes on the Mundane
 Sphere.

 - An old venerable sage with a long white beard, with various
sage equipment (books, pens, scrolls). This manifestation tends
to act scatterbrained, but in reality is sharp as a whistle. (Shades
of wizards like Zifnab from Death Gate Cycle, or some portrayals
of Merlin) This manifestation may also choose to be more up-front
with the HPs, speaking to them directly.

 - A Regal Emperor, In Golden-White Robes, with Oricalcium regalia,
 Light Emanating from his head.

 - A mystical shifting rune of Bright Blinding light surrounded
 by Crystal Flame

 - A Starfish Emanating Scintillating Colors from its underside.

 - A Golden Knight, decked out in Oricalcium armor, armed with
a sword of Bright Empyreal Fire and a shield with runes representing
of great knowledge as its coat-of-arms.

 - A wise child carrying a bright lamp, shining through the darkness.

Note for the JM. You should use the form appropriate based
on the situation and circumstances. If, for instance, you want
the players to go on a high-key mission for the deity, the Regal
Emperor would be the best, or even the shifting rune. If the players
are having problems in a quest, perhaps having the venerable sage
appear--acting as the scatterbrained fool. If the players are
lost and facing Demons and Devils or great power and Alhuhax takes
interest, have the Child appear to lead them to a safe haven.
